Jérémy Doku is the latest baller to bring his jewellery to the pitch at the World Cup.

The Belgium winger has been rocking a cross piece before games and in training throughout the tournament, with Rudi Garcia’s side now into the quarter-finals.

Doku has spoken openly about his journey with faith across his YouTube channel and other platforms, with Belgium teammate Dodi Lukebakio – who is also at the World Cup – a key influence in the 24-year-old finding Christianity.

It’s yet another example of players using jewellery as an avenue to express their identities, and long may it continue.
