Anna Hinde / Florida State
Anna Hinde, the highly decorated Florida State University softball player and former Gatorade North Carolina Player of the Year, has frequently spoken about how her Christian faith serves as the foundation for her life and athletic career.
Faith in Her Recruiting Journey
During her recruiting process—where she was ranked as the No. 1 high school recruit in the country—Hinde credited her relationship with God for helping her navigate the intense pressure. She has shared:
"Tune out the noise because everyone has an opinion of what you should do. Different methods work for different people but for me, prayer, along with my belief that God has a specific plan for my life, was the perfect recipe to quiet the noise so I could listen for His voice."
Leadership and Service
Hinde attended Charlotte Christian School in North Carolina. While achieving historic milestones on the softball field, she actively put her faith into action through leadership and community service. At school, she served as a house chaplain, a student senate member, and a math tutor. Outside of school, she routinely volunteered for faith-based and local outreach organizations, including Beds for Kids, Loaves & Fishes, and the Carolina Miracle League.
