Glory & Game is a directory of Christian athletes and their faith stories. This policy applies to gloryandgame.com and the features we provide there. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that you may visit through our links or embedded media.
Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use Glory & Game:
- Account information. When you create an account or sign in, our authentication provider, Clerk, processes details such as your name, email address, profile image, login credentials, and authentication activity, depending on the sign-in method you choose.
- Saved cards. If you save athlete cards, we store the identifiers of those athlete profiles with your account so your collection is available when you return.
- Athlete submissions. When you nominate an athlete, we may collect the athlete's name, sport, team, position, faith story, Bible verse, image, and links to social, video, or podcast content. We also collect the relationship to the athlete that you provide with the submission.
- Communications. If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message.
- Usage and technical information. Our hosting and analytics services may process information such as pages visited, referral source, browser and device type, approximate location, IP address, and server or security logs.
How we use information
We use information to operate, maintain, and secure Glory & Game; provide sign-in and saved-card features; review and moderate athlete submissions; publish approved athlete profiles; respond to questions and correction requests; understand site performance; improve the visitor experience; prevent abuse; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Public athlete profiles
Athlete submissions are reviewed before publication. If approved, some or all of the submitted athlete information—including a name, image, faith story, verse, team, sport, and media links—may appear publicly on Glory & Game and may be visible, shared, or copied by others.
Please submit only information that is appropriate to publish and that you have the authority and necessary rights to share. Do not include private contact details, sensitive personal information, or images you are not permitted to provide. To request a correction or removal, email mikebrisk@gmail.com.
Service providers and sharing
We use service providers to run the site, including Clerk for account authentication, Vercel for hosting, analytics, and image storage, and Neon for database hosting. These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.
Profiles may include embedded or linked content from services such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, and Bible.com. When you load or interact with that content, the third party may receive technical information about your visit and process it under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to operate the site, comply with law or a valid legal request, investigate misuse, protect rights and safety, or support a reorganization or transfer of the site.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy. For example, account information and saved cards may be retained while your account is active, and submission records may be retained while an athlete profile is under review or published. We may keep limited records longer when required for security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or backup restoration.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information handled through Glory & Game. No website, storage system, or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you; remove or update a public athlete profile; or answer a question about our privacy practices. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We may need to verify your identity or your authority to act for an athlete before completing a request.

Athletes must be 18 or older
Glory & Game only accepts and displays profiles for athletes who are 18 years of age or older. Do not submit a profile, image, story, or other information about an athlete who is under 18.
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe that we have received information about a child or published a profile for an athlete under 18, please contact us so we can review and remove it.
International users
Glory & Game and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those locations may have data-protection rules that differ from the rules where you live.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site, its features, or our legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes may also be announced elsewhere on the site when appropriate.
