Hannah McLaughlin is a devout Christian who has publicly shared her faith as a defender for the Vanderbilt University women's soccer team. She views her athletic career and achievements as gifts from God and actively participates in campus ministry.
Her faith is publicly documented through several key expressions:
Campus Testimony:
At Vanderbilt's student-athlete-led "Come As You Are" worship event, she delivered a formal testimony sharing how she overcame personal family struggles by finding a deeper, transformative relationship with Jesus Christ.
Public Ministry:
She has spoken openly about her gratitude for the platform to share the Gospel, stating that Jesus has saved her and counting it as a gift to share what Christ has done in her life.
Social Media Ministry:
Following her decorated collegiate career—which included being named a United Soccer Coaches All-American First Team selection and a Hermann Trophy semifinalist—she dedicated her accomplishments to her faith. On her Instagram profile, she anchored her success to Scripture, quoting James 1:17 ("Every good and perfect gift is from above...") to express her gratitude to Jesus for her time at Vanderbilt.
