Makayla Timpson last night produced the best performance of her young WNBA career - with a career-high 20 points.
Yet the Scripture she chooses to display publicly on her Instagram is a reminder that success doesn’t have to lead to pride.
“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
When Jesus is at the center of your life, you’re reminded to humble yourself before Him.
While the world might try to tell you how great you are, there’s a knowledge that all of your gifts are from God and that without Him none of your achievements have meaning.
