Adam Thielen / Minnesota Vikings
Spiritual Awakening: Raised Catholic, Thielen attended a Catholic elementary school and mass regularly. However, he experienced a pivotal moment during his college years when he felt "something missing". Seeking direction, he joined a team Bible study, which marked the true beginning of his personal walk with Christ.
Locker Room Mentorship: Thielen credits heavy spiritual mentorship from former teammates for his maturity. He has explicitly stated that former quarterback Kirk Cousins was one of his greatest mentors, helping to keep him grounded, accountable, and focused on being a "true Christian".
On-Field Witness: Throughout his career with the Minnesota Vikings and Carolina Panthers, Thielen wasn't shy about his convictions. He regularly led chapel services and post-game prayer circles at the 50-yard line with players from both teams.
Faith in Action: Alongside his wife Caitlin, he channels his Christian values into the community via the Thielen Foundation, partnering heavily with organizations like the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and pediatric behavioral centers to provide mental health support, hope, and faith resources to youth.
