Arizona State tight end Khamari Anderson is openly vocal about his Christian faith and his devotion to Jesus Christ.
In a prominent October 2025 interview on the faith-and-sports media network The Walk, Anderson shared how discovering a profound connection to Jesus served as the ultimate turning point in his life. He explained that his relationship with God keeps him grounded, emphasizing that his spiritual foundation is far more meaningful to him than his identity on the football field.
Anderson was recently named to Arizona State's Pat Tillman Leadership Council for his strong character and off-the-field leadership. Though he was unfortunately sidelined with a season-ending leg injury in September 2026, he remains a respected leader within the program.
