Robert Anthony Cruz, known as Coach RAC of the Savannah Bananas, places his Christian faith at the center of his life, viewing baseball as an extension of his walk with God.
Identity in Christ: He states that his true identity is in Jesus, not in his baseball performance or success.
Playing with Gratitude: He believes athletes should play from a place of gratitude and worship, whether they hit a home run or strike out.
Handling Failure: He often shares on social media that a strikeout is an opportunity to show a good attitude and glorify God just as much as a success.
Freedom in Faith: Accepting God's unchanging love helped him become comfortable with failure and free from performance anxiety
