Kansas City Chiefs running back Emmett Johnson is a devout Christian who openly credits his success on the football field to his faith in God.
Scripture Over Obstacles: Johnson often highlights Philippians 4:13 ("I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me") and Proverbs 3:5 as guiding forces when navigating the anxieties of the NFL Draft and competing for depth chart positions.
A Routine of Faith: During challenging moments in his football journey, he maintained a daily routine of sending Bible verses to a family group chat to keep himself and his loved ones encouraged.
On-Field Witness: He frequently uses post-game press conferences and social media to express gratitude, stating that his ultimate purpose on the field is "honoring God through it" and giving Him all the glory.
