Jackson Chourio is a devout Christian whose faith plays a central role in his life and baseball career. Along with teammate William Contreras, Chourio spoke openly about his reliance on God throughout the Milwaukee Brewers' historic 2026 postseason and World Series victory.
Key aspects of Chourio's faith include:
Gratitude for His Career:
Chourio frequently credits God for his success, stating in interviews that his relationship with Him has been vital to his journey. During the World Series run, he remarked, "It's thanks to him that I am here, and he fills me with so many blessings. How could I not believe?".
Community and Charity:
Chourio actively puts his faith into practice off the field. In the summer of 2026, he partnered with local Milwaukee parishes, including Blessed Sacrament, to assist with a relief drive collecting critical supplies for families back home affected by devastating earthquakes in Venezuela.
